Mendelian Randomization Conference

We hosted the first Mendelian randomization conference in Africa organized by KEMRI- Wellcome Trust Research Programme and the University of Bristol. The 5-day conference which was attended by 24 participants from Sudan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Uganda, Burundi, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa, aimed at building capacity in genomic epidemiology using mendelian randomization for scientists across Africa.
