The Programme participated in the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Mombasa International Show, held at Mkomani Grounds under the theme “Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth.” Staff showcased research projects, innovations, and contributions to improving health and well-being. The exhibition provided an opportunity to engage with members of the public, share scientific knowledge, and highlight ongoing research activities. KEMRI was recognised with two awards: Winner – Best Stand in Research and Development and 1st Runner-Up – Best Interpretation of the Current Show Theme.
