Policy Maker’s guide for adopting a gender lens in health systems policy

Policy makers are interested in knowing what practical steps to take to move towards a more gender-equitable and transformative health system. A new guide published by Research in Gender & Ethics (RINGs) is expected to help policy makers adopt a gender lens in policy deliberations on health systems. In order to prompt reflections on how gender affects health systems in the real world, the guide includes case studies from a range of countries, including Cambodia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.
