Novo Nordisk Foundation Pays Courtesy Visit to the Programme

The Novo Nordisk Foundation paid a courtesy visit to the Programme in Kilifi, engaging with researchers and leadership to learn more about its work and impact. The visit included tours of the Programme’s research laboratories, presentations on its cutting-edge research and capacity-building initiatives, and a visit to the hypertension research clinic.

Discussions highlighted the Programme’s role in addressing a critical gap in Africa’s research ecosystem: building a strong, sustainable pipeline of African research leaders equipped to generate high-quality science that responds directly to the continent’s health priorities.
