IT is making it easier than ever to add additional security to your Office 365 credentials. Before you can use this new feature, you must first register.
After registration, you will be subject to a two-step (MFA) verification process with strong authentication, as well as a variety of simple verification options such as a phone call, text message, or mobile app notification to access your online data or applications.
For self-service password reset (SSPR), you can enable various verification options including phone, Microsoft authenticator app and email. You’ll have the same verification methods as SSPR, plus an alternative phone number with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
